Job summary

REMPCO Industrial in Cadillac, MI seeks a detail‑oriented quoting specialist to translate RFQs and 3D CAD model specs into precise cost structures for machining components. You will map routing, estimate cycles, and quantify labor, materials, and outside processes to produce competitive proposals.

You will collaborate with production and engineering to confirm capabilities, lead times, and ERP data accuracy, ensuring quotes are timely and transparent for customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze prints and RFQs to define scope and required processes.
• Estimate routing, cycle times, and costs for machining and fabrication.
• Quantify materials and outside processes (heat treat, chroming) for quotes.
• Maintain up-to-date ERP/quoting data for consistent pricing and traceable history.
• Provide timely, accurate quotes and clearly communicate technical limits and delivery expectations.

You calculate material and hardware requirements, price outside processing, and build a clean cost structure—labor, material, manufacturing—inside the ERP/quoting tool. Minutes later, you’re on the phone aligning delivery expectations and clarifying a technical constraint with their engineering team.
