Job summary

Sulzer is seeking an Industrial Machinery Project Manager to lead mid-sized projects from initiation to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, scope adherence, and budget compliance. You will act as the main client contact and coordinate across engineering, field teams, and vendors.

The role requires 2–4 years in project management, knowledge of NEC/OSHA, and experience with estimates and takesoffs. A related bachelor’s degree and PM certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in project management or project coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of NEC standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Experience with estimating, quoting, and takeoff processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-sized projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Be primary contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Coordinate tasks across internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Provide clear updates on status, risks, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and cost control.
