As a Permanent Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you will play a critical role in our Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in industrial machinery maintenance and repair. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of complex machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in electrical assembly, mechanical maintenance, and other related skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Background check will be performed prior to receiving a written offer letter for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment, using various techniques such as electrical troubleshooting, calibration, and welding.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings to understand machinery layout and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Use 2D AutoCAD and SolidWorks to design and modify machinery parts.
  • Work with MIG and TIG welding processes for equipment repair and fabrication.
  • Handle the assembly and wiring of electrical components and systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements in machinery design and operation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during all repair and maintenance activities.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Machinery Mechanic or similar role in the Engineering industry.
  • Proficient in electrical assembly, mechanical maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience with 2D AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with MIG and TIG welding processes.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with conveyor systems and motors.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to perform calibration and wiring tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • A safety-first mindset, with a strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
