Job summary

Enprotech Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled assembler/disassembler for large steel equipment. You will read blueprints, verify parts with precision measuring tools, and assemble components using hand and power tools to rebuild and repair machinery per customer specifications.

The role requires working with solvents/paints, operating cranes, and handling heavy equipment with safety awareness. A high school diploma and 5 years of mechanical assembly experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interpret customer prints well enough to determine sequence for variety of heavy equipment.
• Own tools of the trade, and the ability to use them effectively.
• Ability to use judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of operations and processes within the limitations of established or standard methods and procedures.
• Able to wear a respirator during painting and shot blast process.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and tubing.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
• Read and understand ID/OD micrometers, calipers, radius gauges, parallels, and telescopic measures.
• Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints using measuring instruments.
• Operate a drill press to tap/drill holes per layout.
• Assemble, set up, and operate machines to verify functioning and conformance to specs.
• Form, bend and fasten piping, fixtures, and attachments for service of machines.
