Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a hands-on mechanical assembler for a 1st shift opportunity in Anderson, IN. You will build large industrial machines from blueprints, using your own tools, and work from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include assembling equipment, interpreting drawings, installing components, and troubleshooting during build. Lifting 80 lbs and forklift use are part of the role; welding/electrical cross-training may arise.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure properly.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and how to use them.
• Lift 80 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Willing to train candidates coming out of welding school.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large industrial equipment using your own hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings with minimal guidance.
• Install, fit, and secure metal and steel components.
• Perform mechanical assembly work including fastening, aligning, and adjusting parts.
• Troubleshoot basic fit and assembly issues during the build process.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 80 lbs repeatedly.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
