Holland Sharpe in Clarksville, TN seeks an Industrial Machinery Alignment Technician to install, align, and relocate machinery across project sites. You will work with welders, pipe fitters, and electricians to bring new production lines online.

Read blueprints, perform precision leveling with dial indicators, and align to tight tolerances. A minimum of 5+ years of Millwright experience and a safety-first mindset are required for fast-paced field work.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and production equipment across project sites.
• Perform mechanical installation and precision alignment for motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
• Execute accurate leveling, measuring, and positioning to achieve tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and machinery to restore uptime; replace wear components.
• Use hand and power tools along with rigging gear, hoists, come-alongs, and precision measuring instruments.
• Assist with safe rigging, lifting, positioning, and final installation of heavy equipment.
• Collaborate closely with cross-trade teams (welders, pipe fitters, electricians) on industrial projects.
• Adhere to all jobsite safety procedures, PPE requirements, and project-specific safety standards.

You review the day's plan, slip on your PPE, and team up with welders, pipe fitters, and electricians to bring new production lines to life. By mid-morning, you've precision-aligned a motor to a pump using dial indicators, leveled a gearbox to spec, and verified conveyor tracking. After lunch, you’re interpreting mechanical drawings to dismantle an aging machine, rigging and relocating it across the plant with hoists and come‑alongs—every lift choreographed, every bolt torqued, every measurement spot-on.
