Job summary

EMAG LLC in the United States seeks an Industrial Machine Tool Field Service Program Coordinator to translate technical know-how into smooth logistics, clear communication, and fast resolutions. You will coordinate people, parts, and information to support field service engineers and customers on complex machine tools.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years as a Service Engineer/Technician in machine building, strong Microsoft Office and SaaS tools usage, and knowledge of FANUC or Siemens

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years as a Service Engineer/Technician in machine building.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SaaS/cloud tools; SAP exposure is a plus.
  • FANUC and/or Siemens controls know-how.
  • German language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate people, parts, and information to solve complex technical problems for field service teams and customers.
  • Provide remote guidance to engineers, technicians, and parts teams.
  • Maintain and monitor service backlog to optimize throughput and hit deadlines.

Questions you’ll answer every day

  • How do we keep customers informed and confident? By serving as a professional, friendly point of contact for end users and field service engineers.
  • How do we solve the technical challenge? Provide remote guidance to engineers, technicians, and parts teams using your knowledge of EMAG (or similar) equipment and controls (FANUC/Siemens).
  • What’s next in the queue? Maintain and monitor the service backlog to optimize throughput and hit deadlines.
  • Who needs to align? Act as the bridge to higher service tiers within EMAG to accelerate complex resolutions.
  • What will it cost and how fast? Build cost estimates from scope and stakeholder input; plan task lists, quotes, and reports to ensure timely completion.
  • Are materials in motion? Oversee parts/tooling acquisition, shipping, and tracking; manage POs and invoicing so field work starts on time.
  • Where are the snags? Tackle scheduling issues, pricing questions, reporting errors, and invoice disputes quickly and professionally.
  • How do we scale excellence? Collaborate across teams to embed EMAG machine expertise into every service job and support field service initiatives that evolve with customer needs.
  • Are we capturing the effort? Track engineer travel and work time; complete Service department invoicing and filing.

What you bring

  • 8–10 years as a Service Engineer/Technician in machine building.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SaaS/cloud tools; SAP exposure is a plus.
  • FANUC and/or Siemens controls know-how.
  • German language skills are advantageous.

  • Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to and visit a customer’s office, production facility or job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
