Job summary
Forge Ridge Solutions in Newark, NJ is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for a full-time role. You will operate and maintain production machinery, monitor processes, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe, efficient production.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with lathes, milling/CNC equipment, read technical manuals, and hold a high school diploma. A valid driver's license and strong commitment to safety are required.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating industrial machinery and reading manuals.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and safe operating procedures.
- Knowledge of CNC equipment, tooling, and basic metrology.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure safe, efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- Inspect and test finished products for quality assurance.
- Record production data and maintain accurate production logs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in setup and teardown of machinery for production runs.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
