Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Quincy, IL is hiring a Second and Third Shift Industrial Machine Operator for a permanent, full-time position. The role offers $27 per hour, a strong benefits package, and a collaborative team in a clean, safe environment.

You will run a drying system, load materials, palletize products, and help maintain production logs. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am, with direct hire potential and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Positive, can-do attitude.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Starts up, monitors, and adjusts the operation of the drying system and related plant equipment.
• Directs material flow to ensure hopper levels and material supply.
• Bags material and stacks on pallets; loads bulk trucks and railcars.
• Ensures orders are filled correctly and bags meet weight limits.
• Performs basic maintenance and assists with major breakdowns when possible.
• Completes production logs and records as required.
• Maintains awareness of production status to sustain production and quality.
• Cleans dryer and recycles material after production upsets.
• Operates forklift to load trucks and stack pallets; keeps plant tidy.
