Job description

PrideStaff is seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, growing team in the packaging industry. This position may have the option for overtime, as well as occasional weekend work. This position is focused on operating a stand-up pouch machine, ensuring high quality output and consistent production. We are seeking a specific level of machine operating skill from all candidates, 2+ years within the same industry.

Location: Huntersville, NC 28078
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pouching machinery efficiently to meet production and quality standards.
• Set up machines according to job specifications and ensure proper running speeds.
• Conduct regular quality checks and maintain production reports.
• Perform machine changeovers, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues.
• Monitor materials for defects and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety, quality, and food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Train new team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience operating pouching machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
• Basic math, computer, and hand tool skills.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, noise, and humidity.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish preferred)
