Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands‑on role maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.

You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure compliance with OSHA and Vertiv safety policies while collaborating with production, engineering, and external vendors to support reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with PLC understanding.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Welding/fabrication experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations promptly.
• Install, modify, and maintain machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose problems.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders in CMMS.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and vendors for repairs and upgrades.
