Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Spanish Fork, UT is seeking an Oiler/Greaser to join our maintenance team at the production facility. You will service plant machinery, learn lubrication practices, and complete lubrication routes on all equipment while maintaining lubricant inventory and proper storage.

Responsibilities include following digital maintenance records, assisting technicians, and taking ownership of lubrication receiving, storage and application.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized and able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must have basic computer skills and keep accurate records.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and maintain excellent attendance.
• Willing to train toward Machinery Lubrication Technician certification (ICML).
• Familiar with machine centers and able to read diagrams and lubrication orders.
• Able to track lubrication inventory and communicate needs to purchasing staff.
• Operate forklift and complete DOT HazMat training.

Responsibilities

• Service plant machinery and complete lubrication routes on all equipment.
• Maintain lubricant inventory and proper storage handling.
• Follow digital maintenance records and tracking.
• Assist maintenance technicians on projects as required.
• Take ownership of lubrication receiving, storage and application.
• Work with Reliability manager to improve lubrication routes.
• Complete oil sampling routes and ship samples for testing.
