Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Junior Operator to load products on railcars and trucks. You will assist with Ammonia Nitrate, Ammonia Prill, and utilities, and interact with truck drivers as needed.

The role includes loading, inspection, and routine maintenance of equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to SOPs. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating, from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical data.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts (5:30 am to 5:30 pm and 5:30 pm to 5:30 am) and Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load product onto trucks and bulk railcars; operate heavy industrial equipment.
• Inspect trucks and railcars; move railcars for cleaning and loading.
• Operate loading pumps and transfer equipment; read gauges and record readings.
• Sample loaded trucks and railcars for lab quality control.
• Read SOPs, P&IDs, PFDs, Emergency manuals and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate commitment to Zero Harm and safety standards.
