Job summary

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Industrial Painter & Finisher for a permanent on-site role in Duluth, MN. The position focuses on liquid spray and wet coatings for heavy industrial equipment, offering steady year-round hours and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will perform surface prep, paint mixing, and precision spray applications, with opportunities for 1st or 3rd shifts and a competitive compensation package including profit sharing and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of liquid spray experience with automotive wet paints or industrial coatings.
• Knowledge of paint viscosity, mixing ratios, mil-thickness testing, flash times, and curing.
• Ability to pass medical clearance and respirator fit-testing.
• Willingness to work 1st or 3rd shifts with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation including sanding, masking, and cleaning of large steel weldments.
• Mix and calibrate coatings, primers, and catalysts for correct ratios.
• Operate spray guns and equipment to apply protective finishes on heavy machinery.
• Perform final detailing and branding applications.
• Assist with crane operations and material handling where needed.
• Maintain spray booths and ensure 5S cleanliness.
