Job summary

Cerebras is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Linux / Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust IT and network infrastructure across our manufacturing facilities in Sunnyvale, California. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Linux systems administration, network security, and infrastructure automation and will play a crucial role ensuring high availability and performance in manufacturing operations. This position also offers opportunities to lead modernization projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in network and Linux infrastructure engineering.
• Deep Linux expertise with Rocky Linux / RHEL, including administration of core services.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Configure and optimize Layer 2/3 networking and security controls.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network and Linux system incidents.
