Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Wash Aisle Operator to load, monitor, and move soiled textiles through washing and drying cycles. You will operate industrial washers and related equipment while ensuring safe, efficient production.

You will report to the Production Manager and work as part of a team, staying flexible to handle daily operational needs in a fast-paced laundry facility with exposure to temperature variations and dust.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Work in an industrial laundry environment with temperature variations, humidity, lint and dust.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists, and related laundry equipment.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles and input data into automated systems.
• Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next stage of production.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use of PPE.
