Job summary

Qualifications

Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and required codes.
Ability to follow training and written/verbal instructions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Shift work with potential weekends; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintains all plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and dryers.
Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
Troubleshoots and solves technical issues using manuals and schematics.
Orders parts, tools, and equipment as needed per procurement policy.
Keeps a daily schedule for maintenance and preventive maintenance records.
Removes and processes waste solids from the treatment process daily.
Performs troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for wastewater hardware.
Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows safety policies.
