Job summary

Colonial Group in Cherry Hill, NJ is hiring an industrial laundry associate. You will work as part of a team to ensure safe, expeditious handling of merchandise into and out of the facility.

Responsibilities include preparing the work station, transferring hangers, dressing shirts, managing pant hanging, and spotting repairs or defects. You will keep the area clean and follow safety practices. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training and instructions.
• Basic math and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work station for production tasks.
• Transfer hangers from rack to hanging aids.
• Dress shirts on hangers and manage pant hanging process.
• Identify repairs on merchandise and tag items.
• Place garments on open conveyors and maintain cleanliness.
• Work safely and follow production best practices.
