Job summary

Halifax Linen Service is seeking a dependable Soil Room Laundry Operator to join our production team. This role sorts and prepares soiled linens for processing in our industrial laundry system.

You will feed linens into automated sorting and conveyor systems, load carts, assist with folding and packaging, and perform basic machine setup while observing safety procedures. Flexible hours and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong reliability and attendance

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate soiled linens for processing.
• Feed linens into automated sorting and conveyor systems.
• Load and move linen carts throughout the production area.
• Assist with folding, packaging, and cart loading when needed.
• Perform basic machine setup and inspections before operation.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
