Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a team-oriented individual to work in an industrial laundry facility. The role focuses on safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise in and out of the laundry area.

Primary duties include operating washers/dryers, tracking batch tickets, and maintaining product quality through moisture and temperature controls. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required; high attention to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of required training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Check machine safety devices before operating equipment and record inspections.
• Retrieve and maneuver slings, stage batches, and verify batch tickets for each load.
• Load washers and dryers with proper materials following safety procedures.
• Record ticket information and machine weights as required by the system.
• Ensure moisture, temperature, and load balance are correct after cycles.
• Identify slings with rips or tears and remove them from the system.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
