Vestis® is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our industrial laundry facility in Watkinsville, GA. You will perform safe, expeditious maintenance on high-volume washers and dryers, following a daily preventive maintenance schedule.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with basic mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to read manuals. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years maintenance experience.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read manuals and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a high-volume warehouse and overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and/or dryers.
• Repairs, replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts, tools, and equipment following procurement policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedule and records for equipment.
• Performs wastewater-related maintenance and housekeeping practices.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment and follows safety procedures.
• Occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required.
