The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and a commitment to safety and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities include preventative maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and collaborating with operations to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial laundry or related mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with high-volume commercial laundry equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair industrial machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience reading technical manuals, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and workplace safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment components as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial laundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify reliability improvements.
• Inspect motors, bearings, belts, valves, and compressors.
• Maintain maintenance logs and preventative schedules.
• Ensure equipment safety and OSHA compliance.
• Collaborate with operations to support production goals.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
