Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance in our industrial laundry facility. You will be part of a team keeping high-volume washers and dryers running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, component replacement, parts ordering, maintaining schedules, waste processing, and strict adherence to lock-out/tag-out safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with preventative maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a high-volume warehouse environment and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs or replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues using manuals and schematics; orders parts per policy.
• Keeps a Daily Schedule Control for maintenance; records activities.
• Performs waste processing and preventative maintenance for wastewater hardware.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment; follows lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
