Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Greensboro, NC seeks a Warehouse Associate to join our industrial laundry team. You will assist in sorting, folding, and preparing merchandise for storage, while maintaining clean, safe work practices on a daily basis.

The role requires the ability to understand instructions, perform basic math, communicate clearly, and work both independently and as part of a team. Shifts may include weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stage cart in lift table, secure safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting specified quality standards (rips, tears, stains).
• Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Place bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
