Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate to perform tasks in an industrial laundry facility in Lincoln, NE. You will handle garments, follow the shipping schedule, and ensure items are sorted and processed accurately. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is $17 per hour with a shift-based schedule; overtime may be required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to understand written and verbal training and instructions.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and inventory.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with garment numbering system and shipping schedules.
• Follow shipping schedule and route garments to correct sort areas.
• Move garments to conveyors and organize by route or customer number.
• Hang items by route, then batch before proceeding to next batch.
• Notify supervisor of quality, mechanical, or scheduling issues.
• Monitor for wrinkles and remove items not meeting quality standards.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
