Job summary

Apex Laser is seeking an Industrial Laser Processing Technician to program and operate CNC laser cutters. You will read blueprints, optimize settings, load materials, and inspect finished parts to meet exact tolerances in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

The role requires hands-on laser experience, proficiency with machine controls and measurements, and a safety-conscious approach. Competitive hourly pay is offered with potential overtime in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate & program CNC laser cutting systems to convert sheets into parts.
• Load/unload sheets with a forklift and hand tooling; stage work to keep machines fed.
• Read and apply blueprints, drawings, and customer requirements with precision.
• Adjust gas pressure, focal point, and cutting speeds to optimize cuts; troubleshoot quality issues.
• Inspect parts to ensure dimensional and finish specifications are met.
