Job summary

A&A Concrete Supply, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Laborer for Regular Full Time employment.

The role involves a variety of tasks and a strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance with MSHA, CALOSHA, and EPA standards. Responsibilities include inspecting areas, monitoring conveyors, removing debris, lubricating components, splicing belting, and operating equipment such as skid steers and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of MSHA and CALOSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated teamwork and commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Ability to follow oral and written plans and directions.

Responsibilities

• Complete area inspections and report via daily form to Foreman or Site Manager.
• Monitor and maintain conveyor system.
• Shovel and remove debris from conveyor system.
• Grease and lube pulleys, rollers, head frames, etc.
• Splice and patch belting as needed.
• Operate equipment such as skid steer, forklift, man lift or dump truck.
• Inspect equipment prior to shift for safety and environmental defects and report to Foreman/Site Manager.
• Assist in replacing motors, idlers, pulleys, belts and related components.
• Monitor ground conditions in maintained areas.
• Perform daily pre/post/shift inspections and report to Foreman/Site Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report any defects.
• Monitor dust and environmental compliance of the area.
• Inspect wear items on equipment and report as needed.
• Perform housekeeping to ensure safe, clean operations; comply with MSHA/CALOSHA/EPA standards.
• Other duties as assigned by Foreman or Site Manager.
