Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Lab Technician for maintenance work in Pass Christian, MS. The role performs chemical and physical laboratory tests to support qualitative and quantitative analyses for R&D, quality control, environmental standards, and related activities.

The position requires rotating shifts 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, ability to pass a background check and TWIC card; per diem is not provided. Applicants must have lab experience or two college labs and one algebra course, and be able to

Qualifications

Good analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, judgment and decision making, and complex problem solving skills are required.
Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen and comply with Turner Industries policy.
Lab experience preferred or two college labs and one college Algebra class.

Responsibilities

Conduct chemical or physical laboratory tests to analyze solids, liquids, or gases.
Maintain, clean, or sterilize laboratory instruments or equipment.
Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses.
Document results of tests and analyses.
Provide technical support or assistance to chemists or engineers.
Monitor product quality to ensure standards and specifications.
