Job summary

CEC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for commercial/industrial electrical work in Irving, TX. You will perform installation, alterations, additions and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and equipment while adhering to safety standards. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Responsibilities include analyzing blueprints, planning layouts, and ensuring compliance with codes. A current TX Journeyman license and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Journeyman Electrician license (TX or reciprocal).
• Minimum 4 years in commercial/industrial electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings for proper installation.
• Plans layout and installation based on job specs and codes.
• Prepares work area and ensures tools and materials are available.
• Works safely to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Connects wiring and equipment per code and specs.
• Inspects systems to ensure compliance and safety.
• Troubleshoots electrical problems and performs repairs as needed.
• Mentors Apprentice Electricians on site.
• Travels up to 15% as required by company needs.
