Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman Millwright with electrical knowledge.
• Experience with electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local building regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Good physical condition and flexibility for long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in vocational training or completed apprenticeship as electrician.
• Valid license to practice the profession.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Work with electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with team members to address electrical issues and implement solutions.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
