Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain and protect assigned areas, ensuring the exterior and interior appearance meets company standards. This role requires adherence to standard work, safety, and ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

The ideal candidate has HS diploma, possibly an associate degree, and at least 2 years of janitorial experience. The position involves lifting, ladders, and occasionally weekend work, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Experience as janitor or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
• Familiarity with handyman and basic landscaping practices.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work and daily checklists to ensure tasks are performed to standard.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
• Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms/locker rooms; dust, wipe furniture, sweep, mop, or vacuum floors.
