Job summary

Austin Industrial in Artesia, NM seeks a dependable Janitor to keep facilities tidy and safe. You will perform sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and routine maintenance to support our industrial operations.

No minimum education; prior custodial experience in industrial settings is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. We offer medical, dental, life and disability insurance and an ESOP-based, employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Wax furniture and clean fixtures.
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ensure lights/equipment are off and premises secured after hours.
• Collaborate with contract cleaning services.
• Maintain regular attendance, be punctual, and flexible with scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
