Hitachi Digital Services, LLC in Hillsborough, NC is seeking a Senior Enterprise/ Solution Architect to lead manufacturing IT/OT integration initiatives and drive Industry 4.0 modernization.

You will partner with Operations, Manufacturing, and IT to design secure, scalable architectures leveraging MES, SCADA, ERP, SAP, and cloud services on AWS/Azure, while guiding governance and delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture or IT leadership.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise solutions in manufacturing or smart factory contexts.
• Experience as Solution/ Enterprise Architect supporting large manufacturing organizations.
• Proven track record designing enterprise integrations across manufacturing and business systems.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture aligned with manufacturing strategy.
• Design secure, scalable solutions integrating MES, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, DCS with ERP, PLM, QMS, Maximo.
• Lead architecture for Smart Factory/Industry 4.0, including IIoT, edge, PdM, digital twins, AI/ML.
• Evaluate tech platforms and vendors to support modernization.
• Ensure compliance with standards, cybersecurity, OT/IT best practices.
• Provide technical leadership across project lifecycle and architecture governance.
• Participate in Agile Pillars, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
• Develop architecture artifacts and enterprise integration designs.
• Design enterprise integration strategies using APIs, middleware, OPC-UA, MQTT.
• Identify risks and drive governance across initiatives.
• Lead architecture reviews to improve stability and scalability.
• Stay current with Industry 4.0, cloud platforms, and EA best practices.
• Contribute hands-on to development when required.
