Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in Industrial Insulating.
• Four years’ experience in power plant or maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on industrial equipment.
• Cover and seal insulated surfaces with appropriate materials.
• Determine insulation needs and installation methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and shape materials as required.
• Install sheet metal to protect insulation from damage.
• Measure and cut insulation for surfaces using tools.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application with adhesives.
• Read blueprints to determine job requirements.
• Select insulation based on material characteristics.
• Distribute insulation evenly in small spaces.
