Job summary
Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corporation in Norfolk, NE is seeking an Industrial Instrumentation Technician for installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems. You will work with PLC/SCADA systems and read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and manuals.
Responsibilities include calibration, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance, along with supporting engineering in upgrades and reliability projects in a climate-controlled industrial setting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Instrumentation, Electronics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of measurement principles and process instrumentation.
- Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and electrical schematics.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission instrumentation devices including pressure, temperature, level, flow, analytical instruments, and control valves.
- Perform routine calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair instrumentation faults, wiring issues, and communication errors (analog, digital).
- Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Support engineering and operations teams in system upgrades and reliability projects.
