Job summary

Clean Harbors in Rollinsford, NH is hiring an Industrial Controls and Instrumentation Technician to calibrate instruments, inspect loops, and verify signals. You will trace PLC faults, replace transmitters, and document findings while maintaining strict lockout/tagout and safety rules.

The role requires 6+ years electrical experience, 3+ years instrumentation, and familiarity with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Must read blueprints and P&IDs; DCS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years electrical experience in industrial settings.
• 3+ years instrumentation experience and calibration.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of DCS and control systems required.
• Readily perform maintenance in outdoor environments and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate instruments and troubleshoot control issues across plant systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance and precise calibrations.
• Install power wiring and cabling for MCCs and panels.
• Update drawings and maintain logs and calibration records.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and ensure safety policies.
