Job summary

Manhattan Mechanical Services LLC seeks an Instrument Fitter to fabricate, bend, and install instrumentation tubing for pharma, industrial, and manufacturing facilities in Central Indiana. You will interpret P&IDs and drawings, assemble tubing runs, and mount instrument supports to meet project specs.

Ideal candidates have instrument tubing experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Four years of instrumentation or related industrial construction experience.
• Experience bending and installing stainless steel instrument tubing.
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop sheets, blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, bend, and install instrument tubing systems.
• Install runs per project specifications.
• Mount supports, brackets, and stands for instruments.
• Install tube trays and instrument air distribution headers.
• Install instrumentation devices and components.
• Coordinate work with other trades to meet schedule.
• Interpret P&IDs and construction documents.
