Job summary

OpSource Staffing seeks a skilled Millwright/Rigger to join our Spartanburg installation team. You will start by reviewing project plans and safety protocols, then position new equipment, anchor, align, and level components to specification on site.

You will read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot mechanical issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work area. Some travel and per diem support may be provided for project assignments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in millwright preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Millwright and Rigger.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting ability.
  • Fluency in interpreting technical documents, prints, and schematics.
  • Hands-on skill with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Clear communicator who thrives in a team setting.
  • Willingness to travel; Per Diem provided during projects.

Responsibilities

Day in the Life

At our Spartanburg, SC 29301 facility, you start your day reviewing project plans and safety protocols before teaming up with riggers and mechanics to position new equipment. You set anchor points, align shafts, level bases, and verify tolerances. When a machine hesitates, you diagnose the issue using schematics and measuring tools, correct it, and document the fix so the next shift has a clear handoff. By day’s end, the floor is clean, the work area is safe, and another installation is ready for production.

What You Will Do
