Job summary

MiconeStaffing, recruiting for a record-speed clean energy project, seeks a Senior Design Manager to own design and engineering for construction and infrastructure development at a Nevada site.

You will coordinate between Process Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Facilities, and Production to convert scattered requirements into clear scope and complete documentation on aggressive schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing multi-disciplinary scopes at A/E or design engineering firms.
• Experience designing manufacturing facilities and site infrastructure, including tool install.
• Strong external partner relationships and ability to navigate codes.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear project objectives and manage scope.
• Lead infrastructure and tool install projects from concept through IFC; change management.
• Manage permitting, construction documents, transmittals, and RFIs.
• Own the project funding request process for major infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate schedule requirements with procurement and construction partners.
• Identify resource gaps and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Define delivery strategies and apply lean BIM design.
• Lead feasibility studies, value engineering, and options analysis.
