TRC serves a broad range of clients in government and industry, implementing complex projects from initial concept to delivery and operation.We are currently looking for an Environmental Scientist / Industrial Hygienist, to join our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene (BSI) Practice in the Reston, VA/ Washington DC area.Responsibilities will include:
- Support Due Diligence tasks including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Through site inspections and site contact interviews, identify environmental conditions requiring further investigation
- Assist with reports and scopes for environmental due diligence assessments
- Maintain regular communication with existing Client base.
- Provide technical support to all TRC Practices as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental related field (Environmental Science, Geology, Biology)
- The position requires 1-3 years of prior building sciences and industrial hygiene experience, with a strong emphasis on the commercial and industrial sectors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The successful candidate should have their Bachelor's degree in a science discipline, industrial hygiene, public health or environmental engineering and preferably one or more of the following certifications:
- AHERA Certified Building Inspector, Management Planner, and Project Designer.
- USEPA Lead Inspector/Assessor.
- ACAC Certified Microbial Consultant, Certified Microbial Investigator, and/or Certified Indoor Environmentalist.
