Job summary

Resource Options (ROI) seeks an experienced Industrial Hygienist/Environmental Scientist to join our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene practice in the Environmental Sector. Certification as an Asbestos Inspector and Project Monitor is required.

The role involves inspection of asbestos-containing materials, mold, lead-based paint, PCBs, water intrusion, and data collection across Massachusetts and New England. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-10 years of experience in the hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene industry is required.
• Current or prior certification as an Asbestos Inspector and Project Monitor is required
• Minimum of an Associate-s Degree in Science or Engineering related field
• Must be able to read project specifications and drawings
• Must have prior experience in various aspects of abatement projects
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Adaptability and flexibility to various work schedules and situations
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and use hand and power tools
