Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Industrial Hygienist Technician Jr./Sr. to support environmental restoration efforts in Piketon, OH.

The role involves monitoring, controlling hazards, and ensuring compliance with DOE orders and safety regulations. The Junior level offers an entry path with training, while the Senior level handles routine to moderately complex tasks and supports leads and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of related experience for junior level, two years for senior level.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain US citizenship per contract requirements.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industrial hygiene measuring equipment and data capture systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, administrative, and functional support to the Industrial Hygiene team.
• Follow detailed instructions and approved procedures to monitor and control hazards.
• Assist with monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Analyze hygienic data and compare readings with limits; implement necessary controls.
• Maintain data in data capture systems and generate reports and charts.
