Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Industrial Hygienist Technician Jr./Sr. (3992) in Piketon, OH to support IH activities in an environmental restoration setting.

The Junior level offers an entry-level training path; the Senior level handles routine to moderately complex IH tasks while supporting leads and management. US citizenship and DOE safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to senior level with required education/experience as described.
• Active DOE security clearance or ability to obtain the required L clearance.
• Ability to wear respirator and PPE and enter potentially hazardous areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, administrative, and functional support to the Industrial Hygiene team.
• Assist with monitoring and controls for chemical, biological, and physical hazards.
• Maintain data in data capture systems and generate reports as needed.
• Support compliance with applicable regulations and DOE orders.
• Participate in safety work groups and job-related duties as assigned.
