Job summary

NV5 is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Specialist to support the EHS group in Tampa, FL. The role involves evaluating workplace exposures, IAQ, and environmental conditions through inspections, monitoring, sampling, and reporting.

Occasional travel and fieldwork in occupied facilities are expected with appropriate credentials. The candidate will perform Phase I/II support, asbestos/lead inspections when trained, and prepares technical reports with actionable recommendations while coordinating with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene or related field.
At least one year of IH, IAQ, or building sciences experience.
Hands-on inspection, monitoring, or sampling experience.
Strong writing and organizational skills; proficient in Word/Excel.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational exposure assessments including air sampling and noise monitoring.
Investigate indoor air quality concerns and moisture intrusion.
Perform asbestos and lead-based paint inspections when trained.
Evaluate results against limits and prepare practical reports.
Assist with Phase I/II assessments and soil/groundwater sampling.
Coordinate with clients, labs, and subcontractors to meet scope and budget.
