Job summary

Ensolum, LLC is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician to support field and environmental projects from our Greater Baton Rouge office. You will work on IH activities across petrochemical and related industries and collaborate with IHs, PMs, and clients to deliver field data and project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Toxicology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant professional experience; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in industrial hygiene, occupational health, and environmental consulting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document field activities and data.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field following procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support Industrial Hygienists and Project Managers in completing industrial hygiene projects.
• Conduct field activities including air monitoring, surveys, and exposure assessments under supervision.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain sampling equipment.
• Collect and document air, surface, bulk, and environmental samples.
• Maintain field notes, chain‑of‑custody, and project records.
• Assist with data entry, organization, and review of data.
• Support preparation of technical reports and project deliverables.
• Travel throughout Louisiana and Gulf Coast as needed.
