Job summary

GLE Associates, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Project Manager to deliver asbestos inspections, mold investigations, lead paint projects, and site assessments.

You will manage field sampling, Phase I/II ESAs, UST closures, and water/soil sampling per FDEP SOPs, while preparing reports and proposals for clients. The role requires a BS in a relevant field, 1–3 years of asbestos experience, and travel with potential night/weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety.
• 1–3 year minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning and reporting.
• Asbestos certifications preferred (Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor and NIOSH).
• Experience performing asbestos inspections in varied settings (NESHAP, AHERA) is a plus.
• Experience with mold assessments and IH services is a plus.
• Experience with lead-based paint projects preferred.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
• Current asbestos certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to travel and work nights/weekends.
