Job summary

GLE Associates, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks an Industrial Hygiene/ Project Manager to join our growing team. The role focuses on providing exceptional client service with technical expertise, overseeing asbestos-related projects and IH services, and leading reports and proposals.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in asbestos sampling and AHERA/NESHAP work, some lead-based paint experience, and strong communication skills. Nights/weekends and travel may be required; driving is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or Industrial Hygiene/Safety preferred.
• 1-5 years minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning and reporting
• Asbestos certifications preferred (Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor and NIOSH)
• Experience with AHERA/NESHAP and IH services is a plus
• Excellent communications skills in verbal and written form are required

• Perform asbestos inspections, bulk sampling, and air monitoring

• Budget management and close interaction with clients

Job Requirements

• BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or Industrial Hygiene/Safety preferred.
• 1-5 years minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning and reporting
• Asbestos certifications preferred (Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor and NIOSH)
• Experience performing asbestos inspections in numerous and varied situations/locations (NESHAP, AHERA) is a plus
• Experience with mold assessments and IH services in general is a plus
• Experience with lead-based paint projects preferred
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
• Current asbestos certifications is a plus
• Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
• Valid driver’s license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
