Job summary

SMITH INDUSTRIAL SERVICES is seeking a Technician 3 to perform general labor related to hydroblasting, vacuuming, and industrial cleaning. You will work in outages, shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance scopes with a focus on safety and quality.

Role requires the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with crew leaders and management. Candidates should be capable of operating a utility/pickup truck, entering confined spaces, and using high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum

Qualifications

• Must complete all pre/post-training including safety, new hire, and regulatory.
• Must complete all required safety-related training such as TWIC, OSHA, Confined Space, H2S.
• 1-2 years of physical work in industrial or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic wet and dry vacuum truck operation and functions.
• Performs basic Hydroblasting Services, including Lance/Shotgun operation.
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Performs manual tasks and assists Operators and Crew Leaders.
• Travel is required, sometimes for long periods, to perform this work.
