Job summary
GBALER USA INC is seeking an experienced Hydraulic / Structural Field Technician to service and repair industrial recycling equipment, including balers, conveyors, compactors, shredders and related systems.
You will diagnose hydraulic systems, troubleshoot mechanical failures, perform welding and fabrication, and travel to customer sites while maintaining safety and professional communication.
The role requires a strong mechanical mindset, independence, and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
- Hydraulic troubleshooting experience.
- MIG and/or stick welding experience.
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
- Experience using diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures on recycling equipment
- Perform structural welding and fabrication repairs
- Replace wear liners, bearings, chains, rollers, hoses, cylinders, and components
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections
- Complete field service reports
- Travel to customer locations as needed
- Maintain professional customer communication onsite
- Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures
