Job summary

Lightera Careers seeks a skilled HVAC Technician to ensure all equipment is operational across manufacturing and office spaces. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and related duties to keep systems running smoothly.

The role requires two years of trades school or equivalent experience, EPA 608 Certification preferred, and adherence to safety policies including PPE usage. Candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with other teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of an accredited trades school or equivalent knowledge and skill acquired by practical experience.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred.
• Employees must follow health and safety policies and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Train and direct plant trades Helpers, Junior Trades Workers and Trades Workers.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve problems using trades knowledge.
• Operate and maintain HVAC and related systems per 29 CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER requirements.
• Test, maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, vacuum systems, and control units.

Education
